About the Role

The Urban Growth Projects branch partners with our community, investors, and stakeholders to lead sustainable urban growth that connects the Sunshine Coast community and contributes to one of the fastest growing economic, population and commercial activity centres of Australia.

As a Transport Analyst, you will assist with the planning of high-quality transport assets including investigating network deficiencies, developing remedial options, estimating construction costs, and engaging the community on assigned projects.

You may also be required to provide specialist advice and transport modelling support for transport corridor upgrades and for major projects like the Sunshine Coast Planning Scheme and the Maroochydore Priority Development Area.

About you

You are an analytical and solutions-focused transport professional who enjoys working on complex infrastructure challenges.

You will bring:

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical capability
  • Experience in transport modelling and network analysis
  • Ability to communicate technical information clearly
  • Collaborative approach to project delivery
