About the Role

The Civil Projects team  plays a key role in delivering capital works and infrastructure projects that support the growth and sustainability of the Sunshine Coast region. Working across a diverse portfolio of projects, the team partners with stakeholders, consultants and contractors to deliver high-quality outcomes that enhance our communities, support future growth and create lasting benefits for residents and visitors alike.

As a Project Manager, you will lead the planning, coordination and delivery of medium to large-scale infrastructure and capital works projects across the Sunshine Coast region. From feasibility studies and project planning through to procurement, construction and stakeholder engagement, you will play a critical role in delivering projects that create positive and sustainable outcomes for our community. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a varied portfolio of high-profile projects while contributing to the future of one of Australia's most desirable regions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of medium to large capital works projects from planning to completion.
  • Manage project budgets, procurement activities and contract administration.
  • Coordinate internal teams, consultants, contractors and key stakeholders.
  • Prepare project plans, status reports and communication strategies to support successful outcomes.

About you

You are an experienced project management professional with a proven track record delivering medium to large-scale infrastructure or capital works projects within complex environments.

You bring strong commercial, financial and project delivery expertise, with the ability to manage competing priorities while achieving quality, time and budget objectives.

You are a confident communicator who can build productive relationships, influence stakeholders and provide expert advice across a diverse range of projects and audiences.

You possess tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Engineering, Architecture, Planning or a related discipline, together with highly developed analytical, problem-solving and leadership skills.
