About the Role

Communities thrive through connection with people, places and spaces and we successfully manage and maintain 9 x Council’s community venues through providing service excellence to clients, attracting new and repeat business, retain WH&S compliant, professional, welcoming venues and continually  curate and deliver premium events within budget.

As a Front of House Assistant, you will assist and positively contribute in the operation of events taking place at Venue 114, Altitude Nine and Community Spaces.

About you

To be successful in the role you will have vast hospitality and event experience and provide an exceptional level of customer service to event hirers, patrons and the community.

You will assist venue staff in food and beverage preparation, barista coffee making, bar operations and ticketing for events, setting up and packing down furniture, theming, catering, and equipment for events, and   complete required administration duties aligned to Front of House duties.

As a requirement of this role, you will have demonstrated experience working in a high paced, vibrant, profession team environment. Experience in events, food, and beverage operations and/or ticketing while providing exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.

You are required to have or would be willing to obtain a Working with Children Blue Card, RSA & First Aid certification.

Essential to your success is physical agility and the level of fitness, strength and dexterity to carry out labouring and frequent heavy lifting & bending. As such, appointment to this position is subject to completion of a pre-employment medical assessment.

Appointment to this position is subject to the satisfactory completion of a Criminal History Check.
