About the Role
Join the team that keeps the Sunshine Coast looking its best. Based at our Beerwah Depot, you'll be part of a dedicated mowing crew responsible for maintaining some of the region's most loved parks, sports fields and public spaces. Every day brings a new outdoor workplace, fresh air and the satisfaction of seeing the direct results of your efforts in the community.
As a Parks Worker (Mowing Team), you'll operate and maintain a range of mowing and turf care equipment while helping deliver high-quality park maintenance across the Sunshine Coast. - Perform horticultural and landscaping activities including planting, pruning, mulching, mowing, irrigation and turf management.
- Assist with landscape construction, maintenance works and general park improvements.
- Monitor and assess the condition of plants and landscaped areas, identifying maintenance needs.
- Operate and maintain machinery and equipment safely while supporting a strong safety and customer service culture.
About you
You have a Certificate II in Horticulture or relevant hands-on experience and are passionate about maintaining quality parks, gardens and community spaces.
You hold a White Card and bring practical skills in horticulture, landscaping, grounds maintenance or similar outdoor environments.
You enjoy working as part of a team, take pride in delivering high-quality outcomes and are committed to providing excellent service to the community.
You have a strong safety mindset, follow procedures and actively contribute to a positive, healthy and high-performing workplace culture.
Pre-Employment Medical Required
Essential to your success is physical agility and the level of fitness, strength and dexterity to carry out labouring and frequent heavy lifting & bending. As such, appointment to this position is subject to completion of a pre-employment medical assessment.

Recruitment Process
