About the Role
The Sport & Community Venues Branch plays a vital role in enhancing health, wellbeing, and social vitality across the Sunshine Coast. We manage high-quality venues and deliver diverse events that bring people together, foster community spirit, and support economic growth. As a Venue & Operations Officer, you’ll be at the heart of delivering exceptional events and venue operations. From corporate functions to community celebrations, you’ll ensure every detail runs smoothly while providing outstanding customer service. This role offers variety, challenge, and the opportunity to make a real impact in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and deliver a diverse range of events and activities
- Prepare and manage event documentation, bookings, and contracts
- Oversee venue operations, logistics, and compliance requirements
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and source new opportunities
About you
- You bring proven experience in planning and delivering successful events, with a flair for creating memorable experiences.
- Skilled in venue operations and logistics, you thrive in dynamic environments and keep everything running seamlessly.
- With exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, you deliver service excellence and foster positive relationships.
- A natural team player and leader, you inspire others while working collaboratively to achieve outstanding results.
