About the Role
Digital Information Services drives Council’s technology transformation. We deliver agile, innovative solutions that enable sustainable, connected services for the Sunshine Coast community. Our branch thrives on collaboration, creativity, and a commitment to excellence in digital service delivery.
As a Technical Officer, you’ll provide expert support for Council’s end-user devices and workplace technologies. From troubleshooting hardware and software issues to implementing AV solutions and supporting major rollouts, this role is essential to maintaining a secure, efficient, and customer-focused IT environment.
- Provide technical support and maintenance for Council’s desktop and mobile environments
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, printing, and connectivity issues
- Manage installation and relocation of computers, phones, printers, and peripherals
- Assist with AV technology implementation and Teams Meeting Room support
About you
You have a relevant IT qualification or equivalent experience in technical support.
You’re skilled in troubleshooting across desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and AV systems.
You bring knowledge of SCCM, Intune, Office 365, Active Directory, and MDM administration.
You thrive in dynamic environments, balancing priorities while delivering exceptional customer service and innovative solutions.
