About the Role

Play a pivotal role in servicing both the organisation and the broader community by ensuring Council’s legislative requirements and strategic objectives are met. As Team Leader Supply Services, you will lead a centralised support function that underpins procurement and financial operations across Council. Your work will directly contribute to the delivery of high-quality services, supporting Council’s vision of being Australia’s most sustainable region.

Provide professional advice and responsive support to internal and external customers, collaborating with stakeholders to enhance operational efficiency and maintain consistent service delivery. You will apply your expertise in  administering systems, policy compliance, and business process improvement to drive best practice outcomes, while ensuring alignment with Council’s adopted frameworks and values.

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team with a strong customer focus, delivering centralised procurement and finance system support across Council.
  • Administer and support all functions within the T1 CiAnywhere (Procure-to-Pay Module) system, ensuring accurate and efficient processes.
  • Provide expert advice, training, and support to system users, promoting best practice and compliance with Council’s Procurement Policy  and framework.
  • Coordinate end-of-month and end-of-financial-year processes and reporting to meet organisational deadlines.
  • Act as the Application Administrator for the T1 CiAnywhere (Procure-to-Pay Module) system, managing advanced support calls, upgrades and enhancements, training and driving system improvements.
  • Develop and maintain procedural and training materials and deliver user training sessions across Council.
  • Oversee and manage the assignment of financial delegations to Council Officers and ensure system access aligns with Council’s Delegation of Authority requirements.

About you

As a Team Leader in Supply Services, you will have demonstrated ability to understand and apply relevant legislation and policies as they apply to procurement and contracting activities and payments and authorised delegations within a government setting.

You will be proficient in administering finance software and system applications, with demonstrated analytical and customer-focused problem solving skills.

You will possess professional communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus to engage in active listening, communicate persuasively, resolve issues and foster collaboration and cooperation.
