About the Role

The Data and Information Management team supports enterprise data and analytics services to improve decision-making, create efficiencies, facilitate data sharing, support business priorities and enhance reporting and analysis.

In this role, you will lead and develop the Enterprise Data Management Platform (EDMP) to meet customer demands through robust delivery methods, incorporating both the creation and upkeep of new and existing data ingestions and insights.

Key duties include;

  • Overseeing the EDMP platform throughout its lifecycle to optimise business value, and continually track its performance and costs.
  • Ensure that proposed EDMP architecture and integration changes are consistent with current industry standards and best practices.
  • Conduct business analysis for new enterprise data and analytics needs, encompassing risk and issue evaluation, system and data assessment, benefits identification, and the specification and documentation of business requirements.
  • Collaborate with the EDMP team, software developers, and vendors to manage EDMP issues and their resolutions.
  • Facilitate information sessions on business initiatives to attain an agreed strategic outcome or business process improvement.

About you

  • As a requirement of this role, you have obtained a formal qualification (Degree) in Information Technology, Information Systems or Computer Science (or other recognised relevant field) and/or substantial equivalent experience in an ICT environment. 
  • You will possess a certification in an Agile or other relevant project management methodology, or substantial professional experience in project delivery; including project governance, stakeholder and vendor relationship management, issue/risk management, business process workflow design.
  • You have substantial knowledge and experience working with the relevant legislation, policies, procedures and standards relevant to the discipline.
  • You have highly developed interpersonal and communication skills along with strong analytical problem solving and evaluation skills with the capacity to examine complex problems.
