About the Role
Development Services plays a key role in enabling sustainable development across the Sunshine Coast. The Branch partners with industry to deliver timely, customer‑focused assessment and compliance services in planning, engineering, environment, landscape, building and plumbing. With a strong commitment to innovation, service excellence and collaboration, the Branch contributes directly to shaping a thriving, sustainable future for the community.
As the Plumbing Services Support Unit Leader, you will lead and coordinate the administrative and operational support functions that underpin high‑quality service delivery within the Plumbing Services Team. This is a pivotal role responsible for supervising staff, optimising workflows, supporting system improvements, and ensuring excellent customer and stakeholder experiences. - Oversee the coordination of plumbing services support operations, ensuring accurate workload forecasting, workflow optimisation and alignment with regulatory service requirements.
- Lead and mentor support staff in delivering high‑quality administrative, compliance and reporting functions, including maintenance of data integrity across T1 and other corporate systems.
- Manage complex or escalated customer and stakeholder enquiries, applying technical knowledge of plumbing regulatory processes and branch procedures to deliver effective resolutions.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying process gaps, leading business system enhancements, and supporting the implementation of new operational initiatives across the Plumbing Services Team.
