About the Role
The Digital and Information Services Branch is at the heart of our transformation journey, enabling smarter ways of working and delivering exceptional digital experiences for our community. As the Microsoft Systems Analyst / Product Owner, you’ll be the go-to expert for Microsoft technologies, driving strategy, adoption, and continuous improvement across the organisation. This role is pivotal in shaping our digital future, combining technical expertise with business insight to deliver impactful solutions that enhance productivity and collaboration.
Key responsibilities include:
- Define and maintain the Microsoft platform roadmap aligned with business strategy
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Drive adoption of Microsoft technologies through training and engagement programs
- Oversee lifecycle management, governance, and compliance for Microsoft products
This position is based at Sunshine Coast City Hall, in the heart of Maroochydore CBD. This state of the art and sustainable building is designed to achieve an innovative and collaborative workspace.
About you
You have proven experience as a Product Owner or Systems Analyst managing enterprise platforms.
You’re skilled in Microsoft 365, Power Platform, and Azure, with strong knowledge of governance and lifecycle management.
You excel at translating business needs into technical solutions, driving adoption and innovation.
You bring strong stakeholder engagement and project delivery skills, ensuring secure, compliant, and effective Microsoft environments.
A bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent proven industry experience in a large, diverse organisation is required.
