About the Role
The Arts, Heritage and Libraries branch enriches the lives of residents and visitors through dynamic library services, creative programs and cultural experiences.
As a Library Programs and Audience Engagement Officer, you will design, coordinate and deliver engaging programs and events that connect the community with library services and resources. Working collaboratively across teams, you’ll help develop a forward-thinking calendar of activities, promote programs through creative channels and use data insights to continually enhance audience engagement. This is an exciting opportunity to combine creativity, community impact and program delivery in a dynamic, customer-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging library programs and community events
- Coordinate a dynamic calendar of activities across platforms
- Develop promotional content aligned with council branding
- Analyse program data to drive continuous improvement
About you
- You are a creative and organised professional with experience in events, programs or community engagement, bringing fresh ideas and a passion for connecting people through meaningful experiences.
- You thrive in a collaborative environment, confidently building relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver successful and engaging initiatives.
- You have strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to create compelling content that resonates with diverse audiences.
- You are highly organised and analytical, using data and insights to evaluate outcomes, improve programs and ensure they stay relevant and impactful.
