About the Role

The Digital & Information Services branch at Sunshine Coast Council is a driving force behind the organisation’s digital transformation. With a focus on agility and innovation, the branch delivers cutting-edge information and technology solutions that support Council’s vision

As IT Contract Support Officer, you’ll manage ICT contracts, support governance, and ensure compliance—helping deliver smarter tech services across Council.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Support ICT contract governance, vendor management, and procurement processes.
  • Provide high-level administrative support including purchase order control, reporting and data management.
  • Assist with compliance across financial, asset, and records management systems.
  • Help maintain ICT policies and frameworks,and deliver training on contract systems.

This position is based at  Sunshine Coast City Hall, in the heart of Maroochydore CBD. This state of the art and sustainable building is designed to achieve an innovative and collaborative workspace.

About you

You’re a detail-oriented professional with a Certificate IV in Business Administration or progressing through a relevant degree, bringing solid experience in contract support, governance, or ICT administration. You understand how to apply policies, procedures, and regulations in a practical setting.

Your strengths lie in time management, organisation, and communication. You’re confident working independently and collaboratively, with a proactive approach to customer service and stakeholder engagement. You’re comfortable using Microsoft Office and quick to learn new systems.

You take pride in accuracy and follow-through, with a strong commitment to compliance, safety, and continuous improvement. Your can-do attitude and team spirit make you a valuable contributor to any workplace.
