About the Role
The Digital and Information Services Branch delivers agile, transformative technology solutions that enable Council to lead in innovation and sustainability. Our focus is on creating a modern, connected workplace through cutting-edge systems and information governance, ensuring data is managed as a strategic asset.
As an Information Management Specialist, you’ll play a key role in shaping Council’s information governance framework and supporting enterprise information management systems. This position combines technical expertise with strategic insight to provide analysis of Information Systems and associated projects and integrations. This role ensures that the organisation's information is secure, compliant with relevant regulations, and effectively managed throughout its lifecycle, making it an exciting opportunity to influence digital transformation.
- Conduct business and systems analysis to optimise Information Management (IM) applications and processes.
- Implement and enforce information governance policies for Technology One ECM and Microsoft 365.
- Lead application support including problem resolution and system performance improvement for information management systems.
- Lead and deliver enterprise IM projects such as migrations, upgrades, and integrations within scope and budget.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- This role may have system support staff as direct reports.
About you
You hold a degree in IT or equivalent experience in information management or business systems analysis.
You’re skilled in configuring and supporting IM systems, with experience in TechnologyOne ECM and/or Microsoft 365 governance tools.
You have project delivery expertise and experience in managing migrations, integrations, and compliance in complex environments.
You bring strong stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills, ensuring secure, efficient, and compliant information systems.
