About the Role:

As part of the Digital & Information Services Branch, you’ll help deliver data and information management solutions that support Council’s operations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Support Council’s information management framework, ensuring information, data and records are treated as strategic assets.
  • Provide advice and assistance to staff on best-practice use of eDRMS and other information systems.
  • Assist with the administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Council’s electronic document and records management systems.
  • Provide advice on best practice information management.
  • Perform data analysis, validation and cleansing to assist with system migrations.
  • Help improve systems and tools for managing information assets.

About you:

  • Certificate IV in Information or Records Management or equivalent experience
  • Strong knowledge of eDRMS applications (Content Manager or Technology One ECM preferred)
  • Experience in data analysis, validation, and cleansing
  • Good Microsoft skills (Excel, Word, CoPilot)
  • Understanding of relevant legislation (Qld Local Government Act, RTI Act, Public Records Act)
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
