About the Role

The Digital & Information Services (D&IS) Branch delivers agile, innovative technology solutions that enable Sunshine Coast Council to provide sustainable, high-quality services to the community. Focused on digital transformation, the branch supports staff to fully leverage systems, tools and technology through training, communication and continuous improvement. It’s an exciting environment at the forefront of innovation, helping shape the way Council works and serves its region.

As a Customer Liaison Officer, you’ll play a vital role in connecting Council teams with Digital & Information Services. You’ll support communication, training and engagement initiatives that enhance digital literacy and improve access to IT services. This is an exciting opportunity to influence how technology is understood and used across Council, delivering meaningful improvements to the employee experience and supporting impactful organisational change.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strengthen communication between business units and IT services
  • Deliver training, mentoring and support to improve digital capability
  • Develop and share guides, bulletins and resources to boost system use
  • Support projects and initiatives to enhance customer experience

This position is based at  Sunshine Coast City Hall, in the heart of Maroochydore CBD. This state of the art and sustainable building is designed to achieve an innovative and collaborative workspace.
