About the Role
Digital & Information Services is the engine behind Council’s smart, sustainable service delivery—driving innovation, agility, and transformation across the region.
As our Business Systems Analyst, you’ll be at the heart of transforming how our community lives, works, and thrives. This isn’t just another IT job—this is your chance to drive smart, sustainable solutions that make a real difference.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Analyse, document and support business requirements and system enhancements.
- Provide support for Councils Enterprise Systems and manage issue resolution.
- You’ll champion the modernisation of Council’s most critical systems—including Property & Rating, Financial, Service Management and Asset management, ensuring they’re robust, future-ready, and seamlessly integrated across the enterprise.
- Build and nurture partnerships with leading technology vendors. You’ll orchestrate service delivery and ensure our systems are supported by the best in the business.
This position is based at Sunshine Coast City Hall, in the heart of Maroochydore CBD. This state of the art and sustainable building is designed to achieve an innovative and collaborative workspace.

Analytical & Solutions-Focused: You approach problems with curiosity and rigor, delivering support that matter and create lasting value.
Initiative & Leadership: You take ownership, show initiative, and lead by example—always looking for opportunities to improve, innovate, and inspire those around you.
Analyse Business Processes: evaluate and support current business operations and systems to identify areas for improvement and support solutions that align with organisational goals.
