About the Role
The Administration Support Officer (Property Management) role sits within Council’s Land Management team which provides a comprehensive property management function, overseeing Council’s tenancy and land portfolios.
Reporting to the Manager Leasing and Land Management, this role will support the Land Management team’s land, property and tenancy management objectives..
The successful candidate will use their experience in other administrative positions to support the team’s day-to-day operational requirements.
Key duties:
- Provision of administration services and support to maintain and progress the operational requirements of the team.
- Undertake tenancy administration services including invoicing, issuing rent and utility charges, debt recovery, and work order creation.
- Compile and provide comments and responses to internal request for information.
- Undertake and assist with waterway lease establishment and transfers.
- Maintain and monitor workflows, audit databases, ensure record keeping is maintained and meeting/calendar management.
- Work effectively as a member of the work area’s support team and ensure the provision of quality customer service at all times.
About you
As a professional in administration and office support, you will possess previous experience in providing administration support to a diverse multifunctional team. Certificate III in Business Administration or similar or equivalent relevant experience.
Strong time management, written and verbal communications skills and the ability to provide a high level of customer service to internal and external stakeholders are required.
Candidates will have demonstrated problem solving skills and experience contributing to businesses improvements that seek to enhance the efficiency of administration functions and processes.
Proficient computer skills in typing, data entry and preparing simple Word documents, PowerPoint presentations and excel spreadsheets.
Previous Administration experience within property, legal, real estate or related field is desirable.
