**About the Role
**Lead the team in the delivery of the Horizon Festival and its Strategy including program development, financial and revenue management, governance, operational management, branding and partnerships.
As the Horizon Festival Lead, you’ll take the reins of the Sunshine Coast’s premier arts and cultural festival. You’ll lead a passionate team to deliver a dynamic, inclusive, and strategically aligned festival program that celebrates creativity and community.
This role is responsible for:
- Leading the planning, delivery, and evaluation of the Horizon Festival
- Working collaboratively to guide the artistic vision and develop a program that engages diverse audiences
- Overseeing financial, operational, and governance aspects of the festival
- Driving revenue, sponsorship, and marketing strategies
**About you
**You’re a creative and strategic leader with a passion for the arts and a track record of delivering high-impact and large-scale cultural events. You thrive in collaborative environments and are driven by community connection and artistic excellence.
You will bring:
- Proven track record in leading arts festivals or major cultural programs including programming, partnerships and event management.
- Strong financial, operational, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership experience in people management and development.
- Tertiary qualifications in Arts, Event Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
