About the Role
The Transport Network Management branch provides high-level maintenance, construction and asset management services for all road and related infrastructure assets.
As a Roadside Asset Engineer, you’ll:
- Lead asset planning for roadside assets including pathways and kerb
- Manage condition assessments and performance modelling
- Oversee asset databases and reporting using Confirm and Power BI
- Act as Council’s liaison engineer for TMR infrastructure projects
- Provide technical advice and stakeholder coordination
- Assist in developing Council’s Capital Renewal Program
- Investigate customer requests, insurance claims and permit applications
- Support tender documentation and design reviews
- Apply asset management principles to optimise long-term performance
About you
As a qualified Roadside Asset Engineer, you will:
- Hold tertiary qualifications in civil engineering
- Understand design and construction of roads, bridges and drainage
- Be experienced in asset management systems and modelling tools
- Demonstrate strong analytical, communication and stakeholder skills
- Be familiar with TMR/Local Government cost sharing arrangements
- Have a current “C” Class Driver’s License
