About the Role

The Finance Branch is responsible for the financial management and governance, ensuring effective Role business management and legislative compliance.   


This position will focus on the ongoing development, integration, and security of Council’s financial systems; the efficiency and effectiveness of system financial processes; and the provision of professional advice and expertise on systems and accounting.


Key Duties

  • Lead complex business projects incorporating requirements gathering, design, development, integration and implementation of key business systems to Ci Anywhere applications from initiation to closure.
  • Administration of the Technology One Ci Anywhere application (e.g. menus, security, data entry formats, ledgers, processing groups, module configuration).
  • Effectively communicate and promote the efficient use of Ci Anywhere systems to achieve productivity gains and implement change.


About you

  • You will have tertiary degree qualifications in a relevant discipline, preferably supported by further professional development.
  • You will demonstrate proficiency in system analysis and design.
  • You will have a broad experience over several years in successfully project managing a range of complex system implementation projects from initiation to closure.
  • You will possess thorough knowledge and practical experience in integrated financial systems and processes. These systems include financial asset management and Council business orientated systems and statutory reporting requirements.
  • You will have an excellent level of competency in the use of windows-based computer systems, including but not limited to the Microsoft suite of office applications.
