About the role:
To contribute to the development and ongoing maintenance of Council’s asset accounting framework, supporting contemporary asset management practices and providing accurate and timely asset financial information and advice in supporting organisational objectives; and to contribute to team projects and goals with an emphasis on service delivery and productivity.
You’ll have an eye for detail, with outstanding time management and organisation skills in order to meet seasonal deadlines. You’ll also have thorough knowledge of asset financial accounting and related capitalisation processes, together with an understanding of asset management philosophies.
Additionally, you will have bachelor degree qualification(s) in Business, Commerce, or related discipline. Previous asset accounting experience in local government or medium to large private sector organisation is also required.
